上坂スピン・アイソスピン研究室

原子核はハドロンの有限量子多体系であり、強い相互作用に司られた自己組織化系です。数千種に及ぶ原子核の世界において、多様性と規則性がどのようなメカニズムを通じて発現するのか？ 我々の研究室では、そのメカニズムをRIビームファクトリーで得られる多種多彩な不安定核の実験研究から解明していきます。

特にスピン及びアイソスピンという自然界の対称性を具現する物理量を駆使した新しい実験手法を開発し、従来の研究では到達できなかった新状態を生成したり、抽出できなかった情報を引き出すことを、研究の特徴としています。

現在は、原子核系を特徴づける魔法数が安定線から離れた領域で発現・消失する現象を解明するため、スピン偏極陽子を用いた研究を進めています。
