細胞機能評価研究チーム

がんや認知症など多くの病は、身体の中の細胞が正常な機能を失ってしまうことで生じます。当チームは、PET・MRI・光イメージング法などの技術を駆使し、体を構成する細胞が実際の組織内でどのように機能し、その異常が病態とどのように関わるかを明らかにします。特に中枢神経組織幹細胞や前駆細胞、およびがん組織におけるがん幹細胞のイメージング法を確立し、これらの細胞の増殖・分化メカニズムの解明、中枢神経疾患および悪性腫瘍の新しい治療法の開発を目指します。また、疲労病態などの代謝動態の異常を解析し、細胞機能を制御・治療する技術を開発します。
