Outline

In our team, we aim the development of state-of-the-art frequency-tunable THz-wave sources which exploit new THz-wave application fields. Nonlinear optical process is utilized for realizing the THz-wave source which light up the THz-wave gray zone, and our original design and method will be demonstrated.  We will develop THz sources with high output, wide tunability, high stability, and narrow linewidth. Active collaborations with internal and external research groups will be carried out for exploration of new application by development of instrument combined with new THz-wave sources.  Advanced THz-wave technologies will be also developed in cooperation with industries to establish practical THz-wave sources and technologies in the world.
