Atoms and molecules on solid surface (100-300 K) are observed by
means of scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Current research
interests are focused on:
(1) Reconstruction and its dynamical processes on solid surfaces
induced by adsorption and reaction of atoms and molecules.
(2) Microscopic states of adsorbed molecules.
(3) Identification/discrimination of adsorbed molecules such as DNA
base molecules.
(4) Dynamical processes of surface migration and superstructure
formation of adsorbed molecules.
