Earth Simulator:
The "Earth Simulator" project aims at attaining the world's highest level of simulation performance in the earth science and technology field by developing a high-performace parallel computer system and advanced parallel software.

RIKEN project for Earth Simulator:
In RIKEN (The institute of Physical and Chemical Research
), a parallel software system for earthquake simulation (CHIKAKU system)is being developed.
