On January 8, at the signing ceremony held at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-based Science (RNC), RNC represented by Hideto En'yo and the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration on theoretical research.

Under the agreement, research exchange will be actively promoted in the forms of short/long term stay of researchers and graduate students (mostly theorists), research collaboration and co-hosting international workshops, to further advance research in the field of nuclear/hadron physics and relevant research areas.
