101st Japan Academy Prize awarded to Dr. Naoyuki Taniguchi, RIKEN ASI Group Director

On April 12, Dr. Naoyuki Taniguchi, Group Director of RIKEN Advanced Science Institute were awarded the Japan Academy Prize for the following achievements.
This prize is awarded to persons who have achieved notable research landmarks or who have authored particularly outstanding academic papers or books. The award ceremony will be held on June at the Japan Academy, Tokyo.

I am deeply honored to receive this award. In the future, I hope to continue to make my own humble contribution to the achievements of my Japanese predecessors in the area of glycoscience while working, as a member of the Chemical Biology Department of the RIKEN Advanced Science Institute, for the further development of integrated research in the area of glycobiology.
