Today, RIKEN launches its own official "RIKEN Channel" on the video-sharing site YouTube, where it will begin distributing videos.
Japan's only comprehensive research institute focusing on the natural sciences, RIKEN pursues research in a broad range of fields including physics, engineering, chemistry, biology and medical science. To share the results of these research activities with the general public, RIKEN also pursues joint research in partnership with universities and research institutes and conducts externally commissioned research, while also actively seeking opportunities to transfer its intellectual property to industry.
The aim of the new RIKEN Channel is to contribute to society by disseminating RIKEN's research findings to the general public in an easy-to-understand format.
The new channel will focus mainly on symposia and lecture presentations, while also featuring videos and other content created by researchers.

The link to the new YouTube Channel is located at the upper-left corner of the RIKEN website.
