The nuclear pores (Green) are distributed in a patched pattern in human osteosarcoma U-2 OS cells, and "Pore-free islands" are enriched with lamin A/C which is involved in Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (Red). (Maeshima et al., 2006)
