Our focus is to understand the mechanisms regulating dynamic cellular interactions in the tissues that shape the immune responses. For this purpose we use real time imaging, in particular multi-photon microscopy, to analyze in vivo cellular migration and interactions. Utilizing this technique, along with other methods used in immunology, we are studying immune cell interactions that promote antibody responses. We also study interactions between immune cells and cancer cells in the lymph node that may lead to suppression of anti-cancer immune responses.
