Research Areas

The Information Center (IC) was set up to promote distribution of information associated with brain science research. It collects journals and information relevant to brain science research and publicizes the research results of RIKEN BSI laboratories internationally and within Japan.
There are two sections in the IC: the System Engineering Section and the Library Section.
The System Engineering Section deals with the management and operation of the joint computer system to administrate the intranet/internet system, and e-mail.
The Library section operates as a unique library specializing in brain science literature and documents. It aims to function as an electronic library in future.
