Molecular Behavior of Lipid Research Team
Research Areas
Based on the results of the research team for lipid function, the research team for molecular dynamics of lipids reconstitutes functional lipid unit in model membranes and examine the detailed molecular assembly of lipids using scanning tunnel microscopy, atomic force microscopy and electron microscopy. The research team for molecular dynamics of lipids also employs high sensitivity IR spectroscopy and ultrafast measurement using laser light source which enables "pico seconds and molecular level" analysis of lipid dynamics. This team performs molecular dynamic simulation of lipid dynamics.
