Research Areas

The mission of this team is to carry out collaborative research activities between ASI, RIKEN and Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. As the example of interactive and multiply collaborative research project, scientific/technical cooperation, researchers/student intra-exchange and so on, the research subjects related to artificial intelligence, biomaterials and environment fluidics are promoted By extending these activities to the other research fields in RIKEN and XJTU, the team contributes to promote internationalization of RIKEN.

Research Subject

  1. Intelligent Recognition and Navigation System for Unmanned Vehicle (collaboration with Xi'an Jiaotong University.)
  2. Understanding of Adaptive Behavior of the Insect by Synthetic Neuroethology Approachh (collaboration with Hokkaido University)
  3. Research and development of wireless sensor-robot network for monitoring underwater environment (collaboration with Tokyo Denki University and Okinawa National College of Technology)
