Research Areas
We analyze the accurate hydrated protein structures including water molecules using high resolution crystallography. There are three classes of water molecules in protein structure; (1) water molecule(s) to exert(s) the protein function. (2) Water molecules are part of the protein structure and (3) Waters as the environments of the protein structure and function. These waters are part of the crystal structure or dynamically hydration of protein.
