"Study of Matter at Early Universe through Symmetries and Universality" Research Team
Research Areas
In order to understand the principles which govern the matter world in depth, it is inevitable to elucidate physical phenomena which took place in the early Universe or even before. These phenomema are, however, far out of reach of the present experimental technique. The energy scale is far beyond present high energy accelerators, for example. Therefore, we study such physics of dynamical problems of blackholes and string theory by employing the following recepies. (1) Simulation of the early Universe in superfluid helium; (2) Big scale numerical experiment and high presision numerical calculation in the field theory; (3) Theoretical analysis on the basis of mathematical consistency, including string theory. As the technique developed in the string theory is applied for the data obtained by RHIC, the big scale accelerator in Brookheaven for example, with developing common understanding between particle physics and superfluidity phenomena, we pursue universal principles of the Universe, which govern our material world.
