I am very happy to announce that I will start a new group on supernovae and gamma-ray burst at RIKEN at Saitama (north of Tokyo) in Japan.

A few Postdoctoral positions.
Applicants who can do theoretical work for supernovae and gamma-ray bursts are highly welcome (e.g. central engine, gravitational wave, neutrinos, r-process nucleosynthesis, relativistic jet propagation, emission mechanism of prompt emissions, particle acceleration, UHECRs, VHE Neutrinos/Gamma-Rays). |

| Salary and benefits |
Full-time position with an annually renewable contract maximum 5 years based on the evaluation. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. (salary of about \300,000(excluding tax).Commuting and housing allowances will be provided. Social insurance will be applied. Mandatory membership in the RIKEN Mutual Benefit Society (RIKEN Kyosaikai). Days off includes public holidays, New Year's holidays (Dec. 29 - Jan 3), and RIKEN Foundation Day.
These and other provisions are in accordance with RIKEN regulations. Also, eligible for an exemption from repayment for category 1 scholarship loans provided by the Japan Student Services Organization before fiscal year 2003, and eligible applying for the MEXT Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Kakenhi). |
