Supporters of RIKEN

Purpose
RIKEN is a comprehensive natural science research institution charged with carrying out high level experiments and research to advance science and technology in a wide range of fields, including physics, chemistry, medical science, biology, and engineering.
Supporters of RIKEN is an association formed to express RIKEN's appreciation to the individuals and organizations who support RIKEN's objectives through donations, and to provide these donors with regular updates on RIKEN's activities.
Organization name
The name of this organization is "Supporters of RIKEN".
Membership
Supporters of RIKEN comprises individuals and organization who donate funds to support RIKEN activities.
Enrollment
All individuals and organizations donating funds to RIKEN are welcome to join upon responding to an invitation to do so from RIKEN. Individuals and organizations may choose to withdraw their membership at any time.
Membership fees
There are no enrollment or membership fees.
Levels of membership
The names of donors will be made public, and honorary designations of Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with corresponding commemorative engraved plaques, will be bestowed in accordance with the amount of donation. The commemorative plaque will be engraved with the name of the individual or organization making the donation, their honorary designation as a member of Supporters of RIKEN, and the date the donation was made. Members with honorary designations will receive special invitations to RIKEN-sponsored events throughout the year.

Updates on RIKEN activities
Members of Supporters of RIKEN will receive regular updates on RIKEN's activities.
Secretariat
The RIKEN Sponsored Grants Division shall serve as the secretariat for Supporters of RIKEN.
Other matters
All matters concerning the management of Supporters of RIKEN shall be decided by the secretariat.
