The RIKEN Research Cluster for Innovation provides a framework facilitating knowledge and technology transfer and enables RIKEN to focus the full force of its diverse and inter-disciplinary capabilities on problem-solving research addressing the critical issues confronting humanity today. It is responsible for work on intellectual property, partnerships with industry and the creation of RIKEN ventures that aim to put discoveries made at RIKEN into the service of society.
