The progress of modern biology causes rapid increase in the information of molecular level. We now understand that the biological phenomena are governed by complex interactions between molecules, cells or organs and that the biological functions are emerged from the whole of the systems. We adopt mathematical or theoretical methods to decipher huge amounts of molecular information, and to give integrative understanding for the complex biological systems. We have multiple projects of collaboration works with experimental biologists. In these projects we try to derive testable prediction as far as possible. At the same time, we try to develop general theories originated from the context of modern biology.
