Reduction of research results to society is of great importance as a part of scientific computation process, which demands analysis and visualization for large-scale dataset generated from massively parallel computer system. The aim of our team is to research efficient analysis and visualization methods, which can be applied to large-scale data for various research fields, and to develop a common base framework of the post processing. In addition, the developed system will be delivered to users and will be of assistance to their outreach activity. Since the post-processing is cross-cutting technology, we will tackle common issues in scientific fields, such as a fast and high-quality parallel image generation, massively parallel particle-tracking algorithm and so on.

Research Subjects

  • Research and development of high-performance parallel visualization system
  • Research and development of large-scale particle tracking algorithm
  • Research of data reduction algorithm for large-scale dataset
