Seeking Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Field
Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Computing, also, solar energy
Job title and Job description
One opening for postdoctoral research position in theoretical condensed matter physics and quantum computing.
Our top priorities now: superconducting qubits and solar cells.
Our research is on several aspects of complex systems research and theoretical condensed matter physics, with special emphasis on quantum computing, superconducting qubits, microscale quantum circuitry, vortex dynamics, complex dynamics in materials, biologically-inspired solid-state devices, and novel nonlinear phenomena in materials. Current priorities are on quantum computing (superconducting JJ qubits), and studies of vortex dynamics, although we are also working in other areas.
RIKEN offers competitive salaries, and outstanding computational facilities.
